It’s all about Gratitude

Happy holidays and merry Christmas eve! As we get closer to the end of the year I wanted to share with you 3 exercises I do when I’m feeling a little grinchy and need to keep my stress levels down. Less stress equals stable blood sugar.

I also wanted to take the time to share 5 things that I’m grateful for. I didn’t have the space to do so for Thanksgiving but I’m glad I can now. We all could use a little more holiday cheer and sometimes it’s as simple as thinking about all the things we DO have versus what we don’t.

As always please be safe and responsible. The pandemic isn’t over just because we’re over it. If you choose to see your family please follow ALL guidelines from the CDC. If you choose to stay home, know that there’s nothing wrong with that because we all want to go into the new year being as safe and healthy as possible.

No matter what please don’t shame anyone for whatever decision they choose.

Is there a link between spirituality and your health?

I’m back deep-diving into the link between spirituality and health. In the wake of a lot of spiritual transformation, I’ve come to a place where I feel more in tune with my body. But with that comes the realization of what I am doing well but even bigger what I’m not doing. There’s a lot I’m still learning and exploring. I find myself asking a lot of questions. I’m excited to seek and understand those answers.

KEY POINTS

  • My health since my abrupt break
  • My thoughts on how my spiritual practice relates to my health
  • Realizations and thoughts on how spirituality and health intertwine

I took an unexpected break: here’s why

Yikes! I didn’t plan on taking a 2-week hiatus. It sort of just happened. I didn’t want to pretend I was away because of the holidays. I had mentioned that I wanted to do a special Thanksgiving episode for yall, so there wasn’t a way to hide.

But in truth, I couldn’t hide what I’ve been feeling. The dam finally broke and I’ve been flooded with so many thoughts and feelings that I need to address with myself.

The good news is that I’m back. I even made a video of this talk for yall. Head over to my Instagram to see it.

Thank you for your patience
