Changing the world of Endocrinology with Dr. Gregory Dodell

Fun fact: I had no idea that diabetes management was best done with an Endocrinologist. This year is the first time I’ve seen one. So it’s only right that I bring one onto the pod! Dr. Gregory Dodell is a New York based Endocrinologist but to me he’s special. He believes in treating behaviors and not leading with typical weight stigmas that are often assumed for diabetics. We have an awesome chat about changing the way doctor’s treat diabetic patients and much more.

I’m Taylor Daniele

PODCAST HOST, STREAMER & MULTI-PASSIONATE entrepreneur

My core belief is that you can carve your own path. Unafraid to stand in the gap, I started Healing In Hindsight™ after noticing that there weren’t many millennials of color that I could connect with. Being of black and thai descent, I was diagnosed at 25 with type 2 diabetes. I found the transition into managing my condition difficult. My hope is to have thoughtful conversations about how anyone living with diabetes can thrive by finding a way to manage that fits them.
